What drives the selection
Low-flow performance, peak demand, approved orientation, drinking-water suitability and reading access
Candidate technologies
Single-jet, multijet, positive displacement, inline ultrasonic. Each is a starting point requiring exact-model validation.
Single-jet water meters
Actual minimum and continuous flows. Approved orientation and register position.
CandidateMultijet water meters
Standard and edition behind Class A/Class B wording. The exact model’s low-flow limits.
CandidatePositive displacement water meters
Low-flow requirement and pressure-loss curve. Particles, cleaning and filtration.
CandidateInline ultrasonic water meters
Fluid acoustic conditions and bubbles. Approved Q values and orientation.
Information to send with your enquiry
- Minimum, normal, continuous maximum and peak flow, including duration
- Low-flow performance, peak demand, approved orientation, drinking-water suitability and reading access
- Connection, orientation, pressure, temperature and available straight pipe
- Power, data/reporting requirements, delivery pin code and quantity
What would rule a candidate out?
Check fluid incompatibility, an unsupported flow band, excessive pressure loss, unsuitable filling/orientation, missing power and an unproven approval or data interface. Resolve these before selecting by price.
