These are application-specific designs used in agricultural and bulk-water service. An irrigation label alone does not establish that the meter can handle sewage, fibrous waste or abrasive slurry.
MEASURING PRINCIPLE / MECHANICALFIG. 01
Principle schematic · not a product drawing or installation detail
Advantages: models may suit agricultural pipelines and field maintenance requirements.
Limitations: allowable debris, installation geometry and the risk of rotor fouling need explicit confirmation.
Before buying: request particle-size and solids limits, not only a phrase such as “dirty water suitable.” Identify whether a strainer is required and whether its added pressure loss is acceptable.
What to specify for this type
Particle size, fibres and solids concentration
Intermittent pumping and air
Strainer requirement and pressure budget
Seasonal storage and field access
Flow range and communications
Match actual minimum, normal, continuous maximum and peak flow to the exact configuration. A shared pipe size does not establish equivalent performance.
A connected metering system is five parts: meter → interface or module → network or gateway → software → billing, dashboard or control system. A quotation should name who supplies and maintains each one. AMR-ready equipment may still require separately quoted radio, gateway, head-end and billing software.
Does this type determine the final model and size?
No. Validate the fluid, flow range, pressure, temperature, orientation and acceptance requirements against the exact offered configuration.
Which accessories are included?
Only the written quotation can establish the supplied scope. Ask for the option code, pickup/module, power supply, gateway and required installation accessories.
